Pindari Glacier Trek (Detailed Itinerary)

We start our drive from Kathgodam station early in the morning. You will be provided breakfast and lunch on the way. On way, you will go through Bheem Tal, Almora, Bageshwar, and Kapkot. Though it will be a long drive but are surely going to enjoy because the entire route offers amazing sights. We will reach Kahrkia by night and stay in camp. 

After having breakfast, we will start our trek to Khati village. During the trek, you will come across oak and rhododendrons trees that add a fascination to the environment. By the afternoon, we will be reaching Khati village and then have lunch. You can have a stunning vista of peaks like Nandabaner, Nandakot, and Laspadhura right from your campsite. 

Today the trek will be a long one so make sure you have proper breakfast. We will start our trek early in the morning for Dwali which is 11km from Khati. The complete route is going to offer you different ascends and descends so pay attention while walking. The night stay will be scheduled in the tent which will offer you outstanding views of nature. 

After having breakfast, we will start the trek to Phurkia which is located at a height of 10500ft. You will go through mesmerizing forests of rhododendron trees which will surely amaze you with its extraordinary beauty. After crossing the Pindari River you can have breathtaking views in front of you of Mt. Nanda Kant and Nanda Devi. 

Finally, the day has arrived; today we will trek to Pindari Zero Point and then return back to Phurkia. At the Pindari Glacier, the weather swings a lot so make sure you return back on time. Be careful while trekking because the patches of snow are quite slippery. After crossing the snow-covered peak Mt. Bauljuri, you will get the first view of the Pindari Glacier Zero point on your left side. Pindari Glacier will offer breathtaking views of nature that you have never experienced before in your life. 

Today will be the longest day of the trek because we will be returning back from Phurkia to Khati. After having our breakfast, we will start the trek. You will get amazing sights of nature while trekking which is worth capturing. 

It will be the last day of the trek and also end of the beautiful & adventures trekking trip. You can plan your schedule accordingly because we will reach Kathgodam by evening.
