Dhumdhar Kandi Pass trek is the most difficult trek in Uttarakhand and also the longest trek of Uttarakhand Himalayas. It is located at an altitude of 5490m and connects the divine & beautiful pilgrimage sites of Gangotri and Yamunotri in Uttarakhand.
One of the distinctive aspects of this adventurous trek is the Black Peak glacier and also the glaciers of Swargorohini & Bandarpoonch on either side of the Dhumdhar Kandi Pass trek which nosh the almighty rivers of Yamuna and Bhagirathi.
The trek for Dhumdhar Kandi Pass trek starts from Taluka basecamp, during the Dhumdhar Kandi Pass trek, you will pass through stunning Himalayan villages named as Gangad, Osla, Jhala and snowfields as well as attractive bughyals of Devsu and Kyakoti. If you are planning to go for this thrilling and exciting trek then May end to June and September to October is the best time to go because the weather is quite good and pleasant.
However, this trek is perfect for experienced trekkers who have amazing physical & mental endurance and also have knowledge about micro spikes and ice axes. So pack your bags and get ready to experience the breathtaking views of nature that are sure to leave you stunned.

Dhumdhar kandi Pass Trek (Detailed Itinerary)
Drive 198km/8-9 hrs
Sankri is 198km away from Dehradun so we will start our drive early in order to reach Sankri by the evening.
Drive 11km/1 hr; Trek 12km/5-6 hrs
After having breakfast, we will drive to Taluka to start our trek for Seema. During the trekking, you will come across beautiful views of nature.
The trek will start early in the morning after having breakfast. During the trek to Rainbasera via Devsu Bughyal, you will come across the thick forest, eye-catchy waterfalls as well as temporary bridges. The tempting meadow of Devsu Thach is sure to grab your attention with its beauty.
During the trek to Ruinsara Tal, in your south-west direction you will find Yamuna Kanta and breathtaking views of Bandarpoonch Peak on the east side. Stay at night in the tent.
On day 05, you can relax because it will be an acclimatization day at Runisara Tal where you can have the views of nature at its best.
After having light breakfast, we will start our trek to Black Peak base camp which is located at an altitude of 3,800m. However, from here you can have spectacular sights of Swargarohini peak.
Early in the morning, we will start our trek to Dharali Odari where you can also come across snow. However, the trek is going to get tough so get ready to have some exciting experience.
On Day 08, we will trek to Dhumdhar base which is 5km from Dharali Odari. You will also go through crevassed glacier which will give a thrilling trekking experience.
After having morning breakfast, we will begin our trek to Dhumdhar Kandi Pass where you will find eye-catchy views of Black Peak on one side and Bandarpoonch on the other side.
Don’t forget to miss the early morning sunrise. We will trek to Kyarkoti and stay in tents at night.
Through the forests and meadows, you will trek to Dorangharat and stay in tents at night.
Trek through the forests trails and reach the beautiful village Jhala. Night stay will be in the guesthouse.
Goodbye to an amazing trek and by the evening we will reach Dehradun.

Booking Confirmation Policy
• The customer receives a Booking confirmation receipt immediately via Email and WhatsApp of a successful booking.
Cancellation policy
In the event you cancel your trek, cancellation policy we follow :
• Cancellation 20 days before the starting date of the trek – Refund with 10% cancellation charges.
• Cancellation 10 days before the starting date of the trek – Refund with 50% cancellation charges
• Cancellation less than 10 days from the starting date of the trek – No refund
Note: HA gives you a facility in the event of cancellation due to some reason to transfer your trek (same trek and same batch) to your friend.
REFUND :
• The refund will be given in the form of a trek voucher with 1 year validity, you will get an email for your trek voucher, which will take up to 7 working days.
