Darma Valley trek is comparatively an unexplored trek but is well-known for offering exciting and eye-catchy scenic beauty at the same time. However, trekking to Darma Valley can be a little tiring but remember it can be hiked easily with prudent trekking methods. This place mainly lies in the Pithoragarh district of Kumaon Himalayas, Uttrakhand. If you are planning to go for a scenic trek in the Himalayan region then you should definitely explore Darma Valley. Remember that trekking here is not only an exciting but also life long experience. This valley also holds great importance in Hindu mythology because it is believed that Pandavs before leaving for Heaven cooked their meal on the five peaks of Panch Chuli Massif for the last time. The best time to go for trekking here is April to June and mid-September to November month because this is the time when you experience Darma Valley in the best possible manner.

Darma Valley Trek (Detailed Itinerary)
Drive 270 km/10-11 hours
We will be leaving from Kathgodam/Haldwani early in the morning. The drive is through Pithoragarh where you will get the opportunity to witness eye-catchy & pleasing valley. After crossing the Joulijbi, you can see the convergence of River Gori and Kali River that cross at Dharchula right from India to Nepal.
Now the trail is towards north past Dharchula which further reroutes into a gorge following the River Dhauli Ganga till Sobla. Sobla is considered as the entrance of tranquil Darma Valley and is also the starting point of the trek. After having breakfast, we will move towards Duktu and start trekking to base camp. During the trekking you will go through amazing hilly alpine pasturelands. In order to reach Duktu, you will also go through beautiful forest covers which will give you amazing trekking experience. On the outskirts of Duktu, the campsite is located where you will stay at night and enjoy lip-smacking food. On Darma Valley trek, Duktu is the last village from where you will get mesmerizing views of Panchachuli peaks.
Trek 4 km each way/5-6 hours
The trek is easy from Duktu to Panchachulli Base camp where the trail goes up and then goes down through hillsides. From here you can have breathtaking views of glaciers along with snow-covered mountains. After reaching Baling, rest in a peaceful & charming environment.This will be the most adventurous trekking day because you will explore the fascinating Panchulli glacier and for this we will start the trek from Duktu.
We will start our journey from Duktu to Dharchula where you explore the amazing views of forest covers, pasturelands along with rambling meadows. We will be returning back to Dharchula.
Goodbye to a thrilling trek tour. We will leave for Kathgodam from Dharchula via Mukteshwar.

Backpack Offloading Charges

• Suitcases, trolleys, or duffel bags are not allowed.

POLICY
Booking Confirmation Policy
• The customer receives a Booking confirmation receipt immediately via Email and WhatsApp of a successful booking.
Cancellation policy
In the event you cancel your trek, cancellation policy we follow :
• Cancellation 20 days before the starting date of the trek – Refund with 10% cancellation charges.
• Cancellation 10 days before the starting date of the trek – Refund with 50% cancellation charges
• Cancellation less than 10 days from the starting date of the trek – No refund
Note: HA gives you a facility in the event of cancellation due to some reason to transfer your trek (same trek and same batch) to your friend.
REFUND :
• The refund will be given in the form of a trek voucher with 1 year validity, you will get an email for your trek voucher, which will take up to 7 working days.
